None at all. Most people who register have never trained before. Every class is built so a complete beginner can walk in on day one and keep up — you'll be shown everything from how to tie your belt to your first techniques.

Everyone from age 4. Kids' MMA runs for ages 4–12, and MMA and BJJ classes are 12+ — and as our case studies show, our coaches' students range from primary-school age to their fifties.

For your first sessions, just comfortable sportswear, a water bottle and flip-flops for walking off the mats. Anything else you need — gi, gloves, shin pads — we'll point you to once you've settled in.

Memberships start at £30 every 4 weeks for under-12s and £40 for 12–16s, or pay per class from £10. See the full list on our timetable & prices page. Your first two sessions are free either way.

Yes — private 1-2-1 sessions are available with our coaches. Call or WhatsApp 07463 087142 to book.
