MMA Factory runs classes for children from age 4. Everyone who trains with us — especially children and vulnerable adults — has the right to be safe, respected and protected from harm. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility.
Our commitments
- Coaches working with children are DBS checked.
- Children's classes are always supervised by a coach, and children are grouped by age and size for partner work.
- A parent or guardian must register any child under 16 and give consent for them to take part.
- We keep medical information and emergency contacts for every member, and share them only with coaches who need them.
- We follow our Gym Rules & Code of Conduct: no bullying, harassment, discrimination or aggressive behaviour.
- Photos and videos of members are only shared publicly with consent, and members must never photograph others without permission.
- We follow the safeguarding requirements of our venue, Lordswood Boys' School.
Parents and guardians
Please drop off and collect children on time and tell a coach about any change in health, behaviour or who is collecting them.
